Felecia represents clients in all aspects of eminent domain takings and condemnation of private property including negotiations, orders of taking,
and valuation trials. Felecia has extensive trial experience where she has represented clients throughout the State of Florida in eminent domain
matters with values of thousands of dollars to many millions of dollars.
Felecia joins Harris, Harris, Bauerle & Sharma after working in the Eminent Domain Unit of the State of Florida, Office of the Attorney General.
In
her capacity as an Assistant Attorney General, she represented the State of Florida, Department of Transportation and other condemning authorities
in eminent domain cases involving land owners, tenants, and business owners.
Prior to working with the Office of the Attorney General, Felecia was a partner in a local civil and commercial litigation firm. She represented
businesses and individuals in both state and federal courts.
Felecia moved to central Florida in 1969 and was raised in Maitland, Florida. She graduated from Winter Park High School before attending Emory
University in Atlanta, Georgia where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics and political science. She earned a juris doctorate degree
from the University of Florida, College of Law in1990.
