Kurt was born in Winter Park, Florida. He was raised in the Orlando area where he graduated from Trinity Preparatory School. Kurt received his
Bachelor of Science degree from the Florida State University College of Communication, and received his J.D., with honors, from the Florida State
University
College of Law. Upon graduation from law school, Kurt returned to Orlando and began his practice in civil litigation with a concentration on eminent domain. Kurt is a founding partner of Harris, Harris, Bauerle & Sharma.
Kurt has litigated numerous cases in his practice areas, including representing both property owners and public utilities in eminent domain cases, employers in ERISA class actions, lending institutions in UCC and Reg. CC cases and both brokers and publicly traded companies in securities litigation.
