This project involves improvements to Church Street from Terry Avenue west to Tampa Avenue. Improvements include the undergrounding of overhead utilities, mast arm signalization, intersection pavement ehancements, new sidewalks, street lighting, additional roadway parking, landscaping and underground utility improvements.
The project will be built in two phases, phase one from Terry Avenue to Westmoreland. Phase 2 will be from Westmoreland to Tampa Avenue. The project will provide the city with a western gateway and connect the downtown area with the Citrus Bowl.
